Himalayan salt VS. Table salt

When I tell people salt is GOOD for them, they give me a crazy look. Actually, I am not talking about the white table "salt" that is on every table at almost every restaurant. I'm talking about sea salt, unrefined sea salt. Unrefined means, not processed. Today I am going to be going over Sea salt and Himalayan salt Vs. table salt

I'll start with table salt. Table salt is HIGHLY processed and stripped of all or most of its minerals because it is heated to extremely high temps. The way I see it, the more something is processed the harder your body has to work to process it out. Table salt often has a lot of additives such as anti- caking agents, which can be really hard for our bodies to break down, and refined sugars. You want to be using simple ingredients, be sure to read your labels to make sure there is nothing but SALT in your salt. Table salt, in my opinion is toxic to our bodies. And, it's not only on the tables. Table salt is also in those frozen, canned, and processed foods (most of the time). So just be cautious and always option for unrefined salt.

Now, Himalayan and sea salt are a good source of minerals including calcium, potassium, copper, magnesium and iron. My favorite to use is Himalayan salt, but that's just my preference. Both are great for you. Natural salt has so many benefits such as, balancing PH when the body is acidic, balancing hormones and increasing sensory perception. Adding theses salts to your water can also be beneficial. Regular table salt sends a signal to your cells telling them to not let any water in (which is why table salt is dehydrating) while sea salt sends the signal to your cells telling them, to let water in. So, salt is really beneficial in hydrating your body. Most people think they need to avoid salt, but this is far from true. REAL salt can be so good for you, and I encourage you to add it in your meals and water so you too can experience it's amazing NATURAL benefits.

A side note: There are so many little things to learn about health but try not to get overwhelmed. Just do simple shifts, do what you can. When you run out of salt, instead of getting table salt, get the himalayan or sea salt. I think a lot of people get overwhelmed when they start living a clean lifestyle, but don't stress yourself out. Do what you can and just make a few changes at a time. This lifestyle is a process and takes time.

Thank you guys for reading and have the best day ever!
