The truth about clean living

I want to share the truth about clean living because I think there is a lot of misconception. When you live a healthy lifestyle people will question you and where you get your nutrition. Truth is, we are limited to things we can eat, but we are not limited to REAL nutrition. You're going to get more nutrition from a bag of kale than you are from a fried chicken nugget. Clean living is asking yourself "what about this meal is beneficial to my body?". The truth about living clean is you are aware of everything that goes into your mouth and you are mindful of what you put in your body. With a diet you can take cheat days. This is no diet, and there are no cheat days. This is a lifestyle.

The truth about clean living is not only do you have to be mindful of what you put in your body but also, what you put on your body. I do not use any shampoos, conditioners or lotions with harmful chemicals. Many people think it's just what you put in your body, and it goes much deeper than that. Your skin is the biggest organ of your body and what you put on it DOES matter. Clean living is reading the ingredients even on your deodorant.

Clean living is using safe, plant based household cleaners. Something a lot of people don't realize is that when they are cleaning with those toxic chemicals, it does have an effect on the body. Clean living is disinfecting naturally, and making homemade products. Clean living is not using any medications that are man made. It's, being looked at like you're freaking coconuts for thinking plants can break your child's fever (which they can btw).

The truth about clean living is people are going to think your taking things to far. And the truth is, your just finding out more ways to live a healthier life. Clean living isn't complicated, it is taking things back to the basics. Ridding yourself, of things we think we need. Clean living is living simply, and mindfully. It's, taking a step back and realizing that we really don't need anything but the simple ingredients.

Clean living is normal, the world we live in now is not. We live in a world that over indulges and judges you if you don't. We live in a world where breastfeeding is weird but McNuggets are not. We live in a world that is starving for nutrition yet eats 5000 calories a day. Clean living is realizing this, and disconnecting from the world.
